Lecture 10 will focus on two energy transport examples. 

The principles applied for both of the examples are similar. The examples are:
i) heat conduction through composite wall
ii) heat conduction through a laminated tube with fluid


 
 

Reflection
In this lecture, I learned to derive equations and energy balance for the energy transport through layers in the system. Both of the examples stated above involved different layers/regions in the system hence requiring us to derive the equation part by part. I reckon that the heat conduction through a laminated tube with fluid is more complicated than through a composite wall as it involves cylindrical coordinate. I think I ned to revise back on the lecture recording to understand the example better.
